At FIT Meals we help future professionals who are being trained at the Montemorelos University.
Learn moreIn January 2016, in the middle of class, one of the brightest students in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FIT) fainted. After taking him to the doctor, we learned that he had not eaten for a couple of days.
We were deeply moved by the experience, which led us to commit ourselves to preventing it from happening again. During that semester, we assisted the boy and, in the process, identified other students with similar needs. Today, our project has transcended the boundaries of the Faculty of Engineering, and we are willing to help students from all faculties.
Each month it takes $1,800 pesos (around $90 USD) for a student to be able to eat during his or her classes.
If it is within your means, we invite you to donate any amount. Every donation, no matter how small, will help these future professionals to have a better day to day life.
For the peace of mind of our donors we have defined a series of requirements that students must meet in order to obtain the food scholarship. If you wish to know these requirements you can find them in the registration section.

We always emphasize that we are only instruments of God's goodness. And that when you have the opportunity to help others, do not forget how God helped you at this stage.
I had the opportunity, thanks to God and the organizers, to share in a TedX talk about the project, how it came about, and how we can all help in social causes. I titled the talk "Be the local answer to a global problem", I hope it helps you and motivates you to do something wherever you are.
